My passion for fishing started at a young age, spending countless hours on local rivers and lakes with my brothers and friends. For me, fishing has always been about more than just catching fish, it’s the build-up, the learning, and the social side that make it special.

Black Ops Baits was born from the desire to catch fish on bait we’d created ourselves. Starting from scratch with a small budget, a lot of trial and error, and plenty of determination, it’s grown into something I’m proud of.

The military theme reflects who we are. I’m a former Royal Marine and my brother-in-law Gary is ex-Army. The discipline and attention to detail from those backgrounds carry through into everything we do.

At Black Ops Baits, the goal is simple: create bait we believe in and are proud to fish with ourselves.

Being Andys younger brother, my fishing passion was started young. From the age of 9 I was always dragged out the house to join him on a frozen river bank.

I can’t say the passion was born from frozen fingers and toes, but the thrill of finally catching after hours of being sat shivering, absorbing all of Andy’s knowledge, that is what made it all worth it.

Fishing quickly became mine and Andy’s weekly adventure, different lakes, different rivers, a lighthearted competition between brothers, who would catch the most, who would catch the biggest.

Fishing is no longer just a hobby to us, it’s a science, it’s a passion and something that we are wanting to share with all of you.

After the army, a passion for fishing and sharing with my kids as well as my brother-in-laws and thats what this is about. A family business with a shared love of fishing and a drive to succeed.

B.O.B was Andy's idea and as soon as he asked me if I wanted to join him and Dan, there was no question.

I love making my own rigs and catching on them, so making our own bait was the next step.

Knowing our bait is full of goodness and nutrients that help maintain the needs of the fish makes it even more rewarding.

The shared vision of B.O.B by the three of us ensures we are always improving and developing our products to ensure they are the best they can be.
